Over the last 10 years, California Irish Arts has been renting various spaces throughout Los Angeles to host Irish culture summer camps, weekend workshops, rambling house events, music lessons, Gaelic athletics, and trips to Ireland. We have finally found a space to call our own and setup our extensive Irish library, family games center, and host Irish language and music classes for kids and adults. We need help raising funds before the space gets swooped up! We applied for federal non-profit in 2018, and then Covid slowed us down. We’ve been building back up and received our state non-profit status in January (6555919) and are waiting to hear back about federal 501c3. We have lots of moving and startup expenses, are hoping to gain support to open our very own California Irish Arts Center in the South Bay of Los Angeles! We regularly partner with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann, Conradh na Gaeilge, and the Orange County Wild Geese Gaelic Athletic Association to host events and are hoping to offer this space to all for continued preservation and promotion of the Irish cultural arts in California.
